Fuelling FinTech: Attracting the UK’s future tech talent into financial services report launch

Prepared in conjunction with Odgers Berndtson and Santander, the latest TheCityUK FinTech report considers how the industry can ensure a talent pipeline for the future and how it can compete to attract the tech talent it needs. This work will also report into HM Treasury's Financial Services Trade and Investment Board (FSTIB).

Skills in financial technology are a strategic priority for most of TheCityUK’s members. This report has been commissioned in response to the changes in skills demand which FinTech innovations and technologies are bringing about within financial and related professional services. It seeks to more closely align academia with industry to ensure a pipeline of talent which is fit for the future, and considers how the financial industry in particular can compete and attract the tech talent required. It is already clear that firms are having to draw from a much wider pool of talent than its traditional base.

The event will include a keynote address, report presentation and a panel session with leading academics, recruiters and industry leaders to discuss the report's findings.
