UK-Italian Financial Services Dialogue

The UK-Italian Financial Services Dialogue is jointly run by TheCityUK and FeBAF is co-chaired by Massimo Tosato, Chairman, M&G Group ltd and Anna Gervasoni, Director General at the Italian Private Equity, Venture Capital and Private Debt Association (Aifi). The dialogue brings together senior representatives from the UK and Italian financial services sectors to exchange views on areas of common interest. Priority areas for the Dialogue are digital finance, sustainability and non-bank financing.

The Dialogue maintains close links with the Italian Embassy in the UK and UK Embassy in Rome and regularly invites leading policymakers to join meetings of the dialogue.

Bridging the infrastructure funding gap

Our latest report, produced in partnership with Freshfields, outlines strategies to attract large-scale private investment into UK infrastructure. It proposes improving financial and regulatory frameworks and highlights the importance of exporting British expertise to global markets. The report urges joint efforts between government and industry to reinforce the UK's position in infrastructure and foster international growth.
