In his role as COO/CFO Marcus is responsible for leading the company's strategy development and day to day implementation of processes and systems to deliver that strategy. His focus is on marshalling the company's resources to create maximum value for members and stakeholders and has responsibility for operations, finance, IT, legal and HR.
Marcus is an experienced COO and Chartered Accountant (FCA) with over 35 years’ experience. Previously FD/CFO of Superdielectrics Group Plc 2021 to 2026, Marcus was the COO/CFO of TheCityUK between 2011 and 2021, winning the Global Excellence award for the Industry Association CFO of the year in 2017. Before joining TheCityUK he was CFO for several technology companies, developing start-ups and high growth businesses including being CFO of AIM listed Cleantech company ITM Power Plc.
