Private Healthcare Insurance
We offer private healthcare to all our permanent employees. You can also opt to cover your family members at an additional cost, subject to acceptance by the Scheme provider.
Dental & Optical Cover Insurance
This benefit helps towards the cost of dental check-ups, hygienist appointments, dental x-rays etc. up to £325 per annum. The benefit also offers £325 per annum towards optical appointments and prescription eyewear.
In line with the Pensions Act 2008, TheCityUK offer a Group Personal Pension and contribute 8% towards your pension once you have passed your probation. During your probation, you will contribute 5% of your gross annual salary, and the Company will contribute 3%.
Group Income Protection (PHI)
Should you fall ill during your employment with us, this benefit will provide you with up 75% of your basic salary, after 26 weeks of continuous absence, once a claim is approved, until such a point that you are able to return to work.
Group Life Assurance
This benefit covers all our permanent employees over the age of 18 years from the start of their employment. Our scheme provides compensation of 3x your basic annual salary to your nominated benefices.
25 Days Holiday
You will be entitled to 25 days annual leave per year, with an allowance of 5 days maximum to be carried forward from one year to the next. Our holiday year runs from 1st January to 31st December.
Christmas and New Year shutdown
At our discretion, the company will close for the continuous period from Christmas Eve (half day), up to and including New Year’s Day.
Variable Payment Scheme
A discretionary variable payment is considered (but not guaranteed) each year in April and will be linked to Company, team and individual performance. For new starters payments are pro-rated.
Family friendly leave
To support working parents, we offer enhanced maternity, shared parental and adoption pay of up to 12 weeks full pay, followed by statutory pay as part of maternity, shared parental and adoption leave.
For paternity leave, we offer a maximum of two weeks full pay.
To help employees improve their work-life balance, we offer a 50:50 split between office and remote working across the month, subject to our policy terms.

Season Ticket Loan
To help all our permanent employees travel to and from work, we offer an interest free loan up to £5,000 per annum to purchase their season ticket.

Under the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment (DSE)) Regulations 1992, TheCityUK provide financial support for eye and eyesight tests to all our permanent employees, as well as contribute toward the purchase of frames and prescribed lenses.
Cycle to Work
To promote healthier journeys to work, we have implemented this benefit to assist our permanent employees to loan bicycles and equipment as a tax-free benefit.
