Join a briefing by Australian Government experts and junior critical minerals miners on the need for the supply of critical minerals to be significantly increased to meet the bourgeoning demand for their use in electric vehicle batteries and magnets, as well as in defence and security equipment.
For this to happen, more critical minerals exploration and extraction projects need to be developed while existing projects need to consider moving downstream into first and second stage processing – all of which requires a mix of capital investment, government funding and conventional lending to sit alongside offtake arrangements.
