TheCityUK’s New Parliament event series: In-conversation with Daisy Cooper MP, Deputy Leader of the Liberal Democrats, and Treasury Spokesperson

This is an opportunity for members to hear the perspectives of a senior stakeholder on the role of financial and related professional services in driving growth across the UK, and in tackling other national priorities. It will also be a chance to engage with Daisy ahead of the Budget and to hear her reflections as the Deputy Leader of the third largest party in Westminster.

Daisy Cooper was first elected as member of parliament for St Albans at the 2019 general election, and was subsequently re-elected at the 2024 election. During her time in parliament, Daisy has held a number of spokesperson roles, and became Deputy Leader of the Liberal Democrats in 2020, and Treasury Spokesperson in September 2024.
