Commenting on the death of former UK Chancellor Alistair Darling, Miles Celic, Chief Executive Officer, TheCityUK, said:
"We are deeply saddened by the death of Alistair Darling. He was a key figure in steering the economy through the financial crisis and was always a strong supporter and advocate for the positive role of financial and related professional services across the whole of the UK.

“Our thoughts go to Alistair’s family and friends at this sad time.”
