Joint UK/US trade dialogues presents big opportunities, says TheCityUK

The new UK/US trade dialogue presents a fantastic opportunity to further deepen the unique and long-standing trade and investment relationship between our two countries. It offers a chance to deliver on shared priorities around job creation, economic regeneration and green growth. There is also strong appetite on both sides of the Atlantic to work even more closely towards further liberalisation of global services trade. Together with the UK/US Financial Regulatory Working Group (FRWG) these dialogues will encourage closer collaboration on important issues which will bring benefits for the UK-based financial and related services industry and its customers such as data, green finance and global risk management and we look forward to supporting the work ahead.
