Mary Creagh MP is the Chair of the UK Parliament's Environmental Audit Committee, which conducted an inquiry into green finance in early 2018.
This roundtable will allow for a discussion on the opportunities and challenges for green finance in the UK, lessons learnt from international green finance markets and how policymakers and regulators could further support the growth of green finance in the UK.
Mary was elected as Labour Member of Parliament for Wakefield in 2005. In 2010, she joined the shadow cabinet where she served as Shadow Environment Secretary, Shadow Transport Secretary, and Shadow International Development Secretary. Mary left the Shadow Cabinet in 2015 and became Chair of the Commons Environmental Audit Select Committee in 2016.
