TheCityUK is pleased to announce the launch of 'Cyber and the City; making the UK's financial and related professional services sector safe from cyber attacks'.
This report, co-written with Marsh Ltd, seeks to answer three important questions, (i) what is the nature and scale of cyber threat to financial institutions? (ii) what are the best ways for financial institutions to protect themselves? and (iii) how can the UK become a beacon for Cyber security?
This launch event will focus on the detailed recommendations, which are being discussed with both the industry and with Government stakeholders and will covers key areas of recommendations for individuals, Financial Related Professional Services firms, the industry and policymakers around making the UK safer, better at information sharing, increasing the talent pool, strengthening Board level focus on Cyber, and ensuring the regulatory environment supports the fight.
