Financial Services Skills Taskforce's concluding report and recommendations.
Launched by the then Chancellor in June 2018 and convened by TheCityUK, with support from the City of London Corporation and EY under the chairmanship of Mark Hoban former Minister, Chairman, Flood Re and Board Director of TheCityUK. The Taskforce was was established to help ensure the sector is prepared to meet the long-term skills needs over a period of unprecedented technological and social change. Following the launch of its interim report in June 2019, the Taskforce has developed a set of core recommendations for the sector, academia and government to address this challenge.
The event will include a presentation of the findings by Mark Hoban, a keynote speech from the City Minister and Economic Secretary to the Treasury, John Glen MP and a panel session with representatives from industry, who will discuss the report's recommendations and next steps to ensure the sector remains world-leading and competitive.
