Anna Soubry was elected as Member of Parliament for Broxtowe in the 2010 General Election, soon becoming a Parliamentary Private Secretary to Health Minister, Simon Burns and subsequently a junior Health Minister in September 2012. In the Ministerial reshuffle in October 2013, she was appointed Minister of State for Defence Personnel and Minister of State for Small Business attending Cabinet following the 2015 general election.
