This roundtable will allow for a discussion on Dr Phillip Lee's former role as Parliamentary Under-Secretary at the Ministry of Justice and the importance of maintaining the role of the UK as the leading global centre for the provision of international legal services.
The roundtable will also allow Dr Lee to give his perspective form the Conservative Party and the challenges and opportunities facing UK-based related professional services in the future relationship with the EU.
Dr Philip Lee has been the Member of Parliament for Bracknell since May 2010. He has served on the Energy and Climate Change Committee and the Administration Committee before being appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary at the Ministry of Justice in 2016. Dr Lee resigned in June 2018 citing the government's handling of Brexit.
