Anglo-Italian Financial Services Dialogue

TheCityUK’s Anglo-Italian Financial Services Dialogue (AIFSD) works to effectively influence European and global regulation policy.

We recognise the importance of collaborating and working closely with our Italian counterparts to focus on our mutual priorities within our financial and related professional services industries. We seek to influence senior policymakers from the UK and Italy. Together we present evidence and analysis drawn from these markets.

Our joint Chairmen are Mark Garvin of JP Morgan and Innocenzo Cipolletta of AIFI. UK members of the AIFSD are drawn from firms across our membership. We meet twice a year, alternating between the UK and Rome.

Priorities of the Anglo-Italian Financial Services Dialogue are:

- To explore the shared challenges and opportunities facing financial and related professional services in the UK, Italy and across Europe.
- To build on our strong links with the national finance ministries, Central Banks and embassies in London and Rome.
- To keep abreast of upcoming trends and risks in financial services, while helping firms to achieve the best outcomes for consumers across Europe.
- To develop best practice in both the UK and Italy which could encourage greater levels of investment across Europe.
